Head to Goddards Brewery on Saturday, 22nd August 2026, for their Motor Meet event, showcasing vehicles from all eras – cars, bikes, tractors, customs and working machinery. These events are designed as relaxed, social gatherings and an opportunity to showcase vehicles of all kinds from across the Island – from club displays to solo owners – celebrating the brilliant variety of vehicles and enthusiasts we have locally. The world-famous Isle of Wight Scooter Rally hosts up to 5,000 riders of vintage and modern scooters, heading mostly to the coastal towns of Ryde and Sandown. With an Islandwide ‘ride out’ on the Sunday. The ‘Best of British’ evening entertainment spans four venues and features live music from a range of acts playing classic Britpop, ska and two-tone, as well as mod, soul and punk music. The event hub is at Sandown Airport, which hosts live music, licensed bars and traders stalls with glamping available.

Further to the incredibly successful event in 2025, Wight Buggin’ returns to Retro Staycations, full of family fun and a lovely end-of-season opportunity to hang out with the V-Dubbers. This will be a family-friendly weekend with up to three nights camping, but also has some superb bands and music acts performing live for everyone’s enjoyment and local trade stalls. Plus a bar courtesy of Island Ales and a hot food selection freshly prepared by Island traders.
