Wight Classics is a friendly Isle of Wight garage specialising in the restoration, repair and maintenance of classic and vintage cars. The team works with a wide variety of vehicles, from pre-war sports cars to 1970s and 1980s saloons, carefully researching the needs of each vehicle. The Isle of Wight 4×4 Club was founded in 1988 and promotes off-roading and motorsport on the Isle of Wight. Affiliated to the Motor Sport Association (MSA), the club is run by off-roaders for off-roaders and welcomes owners of all vehicles. The club holds events at least once a month, including driving days, trials, green-laning trips, inter-club events, mainland trips and camping. Activities cater for everyone from novice off-roaders to veteran mud-pluggers, making the Isle of Wight 4×4 Club an inclusive part of the Island’s motoring and motorsport community.

Established in the late 1940s at Bembridge Airport, the Isle of Wight Car Club organises a variety of motorsport events each year for its members. The club provides members with opportunities to take part in its events and enjoy their passion for motorsport on the Isle of Wight. Membership also gives access to numerous Motorsport UK events, particularly those hosted by clubs affiliated with the Association of Central Southern Motor Clubs and the Association of South Western Motor Clubs. This provides members with opportunities to participate in motorsport events both on the Island and further afield.

Vectis Garage serves the entire Isle of Wight, offering a full range of vehicle repair services for a wide variety of vehicles. The garage caters for cars, 4x4s, vans and commercial vehicles, with workshop facilities available for larger repairs that cannot be carried out at the roadside. Vectis Garage is also a classic Mini specialist, with over 30 years of experience in repairing, driving, racing and modifying the classic Mini. Its experience covers a broad range of classic Mini work, making it a specialist destination for owners of these iconic cars.

The Isle of Wight TVR Car Club is for anyone with an interest in TVRs on the Isle of Wight. Whether you own a TVR or simply have an interest in the marque, everyone is welcome to come along to a meeting or contact the Regional Organiser for more information. The club holds monthly meetings on the first Monday of each month at The Fighting Cocks pub in Arreton, providing an opportunity for TVR enthusiasts to meet and share their interest in these distinctive British sports cars.

Northshore Classics specialises in fabrication, restoration and servicing for classic Volkswagens, as well as working on other popular classic marques including Ford, Morris, Citroën and Mercedes. From complete restorations to wheel banding, the team offers a range of services for classic vehicles. Northshore Classics also offers a collection service from the UK mainland at no extra cost, allowing your classic to be brought in for restoration, servicing or other work. Visitors are welcome to pop into the workshop to discuss their vehicle and see what Northshore Classics can do.

The Jaguar Enthusiasts Club, Isle of Wight, is a friendly group that meets regularly to chat about cars and a variety of other topics. The club currently meets on Sunday mornings at Thompson’s Garden Centre, Watery Lane, Hale Common, PO36 0LX. Founded in 1989 to celebrate the iconic Jaguar marque, the club has also organised an annual car show since 2022. Auto-Fest IOW Car Show welcomes all types of vehicles, from vintage classics to modern supercars.

The Isle of Wight Austins are a group of Island enthusiasts with a shared passion for Austin cars, as well as commercial vehicles and other equipment carrying the Austin brand. Their enthusiasm covers a wide range of vehicles connected to the Austin name and its history. The group also takes an interest in vehicles produced under licence from the Austin Motor Company, including the BMW Dixi, American Austin, Rosengart and Bantam. For enthusiasts of Austin vehicles and their related marques, the Isle of Wight Austins celebrate the history and variety of vehicles associated with the Austin brand.

Founded in December 1986, the Isle of Wight Morris Minor Owners Club is run by a small group of enthusiasts for the benefit of its members. Each month, members receive Minor Monthly, a newsletter featuring news, views, advice and technical information relating to the Morris Minor and classic car scene. The club meets on the third Thursday of each month at Goddards Brewery from 19:00. Morris Minor owners, along with their friends and family, are always welcome to attend and enjoy the club’s friendly community of enthusiasts.
